Tales of the Tattoo opened at the Museum of Northern California Art last weekend, and my entry into the show, Siren, received so much attention! Thank you everyone who came out to see the show.  She was also featured on the front page in Chico’s Enterprise Record Monday!

I have been somewhat at a loss on how to categorize this piece even before finishing her… Is she a theater set piece? Outsider art?  Protest art? What I am clear on, however, is her purpose. If you hang out with her for a minute or two, she will tell you.
